Welcome to Careers@Burgate.
On this page you will find information about the careers provision
at The Burgate School and Sixth Form and resources and
support for students, parents, staff and employers.
We aim to provide a varied curriculum, delivered through PSHE lessons, tutor time, embedded within subject-specific lessons, and aim to complement this with trips and external speakers where possible.
We are using Compass + as a tool to demonstrate that we are successfully meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks which is how schools measure their CEIAG provision. Please click on the button

This policy explains how we give providers of technical education and apprenticeships access to Year 8-13 students.

The Careers@Burgate newsletter is used to showcase what careers events have been happening at the Burgate, share useful links, and to pass on upcoming opportunities for students and parents. Please take the time to read it, and get in touch if you or your son/daughter attends any events – we would love to hear any feedback you may have.
