​*Parents of existing Burgate students will be sent login in details and a password to create/access their individual profile and must use these when registering to join sixth form. Students applying from all other schools will need to create a password and profile.

Financial support available: If your household income is less than £40,000 you will be eligible for assistance with the costs associated with studying including transport.

Freshers Day for entry in September: Thursday 25 June 2026 08:30-14:00

The focus of this relaxed and fun event will be to get to know our sixth form site,

our staff, and fellow students. Applicants who have applied for a sixth form place will need to confirm they are attending by completing online registration. The link to this form will be sent via email to all priority 1 parent/carer contacts. Transport to this event: It will be possible on the morning of this event for students to travel to Freshers on the following Burgate bus routes free of charge; B1-B6 and 763. Return travel will be possible at the end of this event to Salisbury city centre only via the X3. It will not be possible for non-Burgate Freshers to travel on any of our other Burgate bus routes on this day.

Sixth Form Open Evening for September 2027 entry - TBC 18:00-20:00 

Booking is not required. You are welcome to arrive at any time during this event to meet subject staff, students and visit sixth form facilities. There will be a short talk from the Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form at 18.15 and repeated at 19.15.

​Sixth Form Taster Day for Year 11 students for September 2027 entry - TBC  08:30-15:00

​Registration for Year 11 students will open next academic year.

We will send you a timetable of your chosen subjects, other activities and information a day or two before this event.               Transport to this event: It will be possible on the day of this event for students to travel to and from Taster Day                                 on the following Burgate bus routes free of charge; B1-B6 and 763. It will not be possible for visiting non-Burgate students to travel on any of our other Burgate bus routes on this day.​
