Sixth Form Taster Day  - Thursday 12 November 2026

This is an opportunity for Year 11 to experience  a full day of A level taster lessons, see our facilities and learning environment, and speak with subject ambassadors. 

Year 11 students can register here to join us for the day 

 

​Applications for Year12 places starting in 2027 are now open.

NOTES: Parents of existing Year 11 Burgate students will have been sent an email with a link and login details to use for creating applications.

Financial support available:

If your household income is less than £40,000 you will be eligible for assistance with the costs associated with studying including transport.

Freshers Day for entry in September 2027: TBC

The focus of this relaxed and fun event will be to get to know our sixth form site, our staff, and fellow students.

​

Applicants who have applied for a sixth form place will need to confirm they are attending by completing online registration.

​

The link to this form will be sent via email to all priority 1 parent/carer contacts.

 

Transport to this event: It will be possible on the morning of this event for students to travel to Freshers on the following Burgate bus routes free of charge; B1-B6 and 763. Return travel will be possible at the end of this event to Salisbury city centre only via the X3. It will not be possible for non-Burgate Freshers to travel on any of our other Burgate bus routes on this day.
