Teacher of Computing and STEAM

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative, and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about Computing and can deliver outstanding lessons across the ability range.  

The successful candidate may/will also have the chance/be expected to join our STEAM team at Burgate. Our developing STEAM courses emphasise creativity, real-world problem-solving, live briefs and practical applications of robotics, science, technology, engineering, art, design and mathematics. We seek the ability to incorporate experiential learning and innovative practices within computing, technology and robotics and a willingness to work as part of a wider cross curricular exciting new team. 

This would be an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated Early Careers Teacher who can inspire, motivate, and challenge students to join an experienced and highly successful department in a thriving school.

·         Main Pay Range with the possibility of a recruitment and retention incentive of £3,000 for the right candidate (£1,500 to be paid              in the first year and £1,500 to be paid in the second year of employment)

Teacher of English (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dynamic English Teacher (ECT or experienced) to join our thriving and highly successful English Department on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can engage, challenge and inspire students to join our close-knit and dedicated team in our warm and supportive school.

Are you interested in a career teaching?  

​Our school has links with several teacher training institutions that provide opportunities for trainee teachers. These offer options through a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) working with Southampton and Portsmouth Universities,

or employment-based training through Schools Direct with Bitterne Park and Ringwood Teaching Alliances.
